Elite Training Program
The Royal Dance Academy Performance Team has had a proven history of delivering outstanding performances, opportunities, and results.  This season, our studio will transition to an Elite Training Model focusing on a higher level of technical development through a small group setting.  This model is designed for the serious, pre-professional dancer who is looking to take their training to the next level and will be available by audition only.

We believe in the development of a well-trained, intellectual dancer, and we achieve this by placing an emphasis on technical development.  Dancers selected for our Elite Program will be subdivided into two training levels. These dancers will train together in dedicated classes, perform together, and travel to various conventions and competitive events throughout the season. Dancers have the opportunity to audition for a spot in our program with the primary criteria for placement being age, aptitude, ability, and attitude.

Training Levels

Intermediate Level  
Mini- 8-10 years old
Juniors- 11-12 years old

Advanced Level
Teens- 13-15 years old
Seniors-16-19 years old

Features of Our Elite Program:
Small group technique based approach to benefit the physical, mental, and emotional development of the dancer.
Each family will meet with our Artistic Director to create a plan for individualized training, goal setting, and performance planning.
Special opportunities for our dancers to earn scholarships and work with Master Choreographers.
Each dancer will learn and perform a solo during the season, helping to develop personal growth and accountability.
In addition to technical classes, dancers will be selected to participate in select Group Pieces that will be competed at various events throughout the season.

Apprentice Program
Select dancers who are not quite ready to compete at a high level but show potential and aptitude may be offered an Apprenticeship to our Program.
Dancers selected for this program will train alongside our Elite Dancers, attend all conventions and workshops, understudy group pieces, and should be willing and able to step into a performance if the need arises.

Community Program
For dancers who are looking for the same high-quality training with less commitment, we will also host Community Classes on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

This program is a great way to work with our incredible faculty as a beginner, recreational student, or while building a stronger technical foundation to prepare you for a future in our Elite Training Program.
